About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Solution Engineer / Customer Success with strong technical expertise in drone-based surveying and mapping solutions. This role involves both pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, including client consultation, on-site product demonstrations, drone operations, and data processing using specialized software to solve real-world problems across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored drone-based solutions.
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations, including drone flight operations and live data collection.
- Operate drones for aerial mapping, surveying, and inspection tasks in field environments.
- Process, analyze, and interpret data using software such as DJI Terra, Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, or other GIS/mapping platforms.
- Advise clients on best practices and optimal workflows for drone deployment in use cases such as land surveying, agriculture, infrastructure inspection, and public sector applications.
- Provide technical training to clients and internal team members.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to drone hardware and software.
- Travel frequently to customer sites across various provinces to support field operations.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with drone mapping missions and relevant processing software is required.
- Strong knowledge of photogrammetry, geospatial data, and coordinate systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with drone platforms such as DJI (e.g., Mavic 3E, Matrice series) and related payloads (e.g., GNSS receiver, multispectral sensors).
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Good presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in field conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel upcountry frequently.
- Drone pilot license (if applicable) is a plus.
