Merchandising Lead (Supply Chain)
We are seeking a Merchandising and Procurement Lead to drive product strategy, inventory planning, and sales optimization across our verticals.
Summary
We are seeking a Merchandising and Procurement Lead to drive product strategy, inventory planning, and sales optimization across our verticals. This role is responsible for curating product assortments, analyzing sales performance, and managing supplier relationships to ensure an optimal product mix that aligns with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for market trends, consumer behavior, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Merchandizing Strategy: Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Procurement Strategy: Enhance the framework of procurement to ensure the sustainability of purchasing and competitiveness between product with supplier.
- Customer Experience: Provide pleasant shopping environment and experience by ensuring seamless flow and layout for our in-store customers as well as e-commerce channels.
- Product roadmap: Develop merchandising strategy according to product roadmap and overall company strategy based on the latest market trends
- Inventory Management: Work closely with supply chain team to manage inventory levels and ensure that products are in stock and available for purchase
- Competitor Monitoring: Monitor competitor activity and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- People & Processes: Work actively with key stakeholders such as retail branches personnel, salesperson and product teams to understand possible gaps in their daily tasks relating to merchandising, and develop processes to boost overall efficiency and productivity
- Analysis: Conduct customer feedback survey and market research to ensure relevance of Aonic’s service and product offerings and build long-term rapport with customers.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or category management.
- 2 years of experience leading a Team.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, or lifestyle product merchandising is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, global shipping and logistic terms, pricing strategies, and supplier negotiation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to market changes.
