About the Role

1. UAV & Fieldwork Operations

• Assist in drone flight operations, including mission planning and on-site deployment.

• Conduct GNSS/GPS data collection using company equipment (Emlid, etc.).

• Perform on-ground verification and coordinate with the field team during mapping tasks.

• Support ground control point (GCP) setup and accuracy checks.

2. Geospatial Data Processing

• Able to process UAV imagery using photogrammetry tools.

• Able to generate ortho mosaic, point clouds, DSM/DTM, and 3D models.

• Conduct spatial analysis, including vector editing, raster analysis, and data interpretation.

3. GIS & AutoCAD Mapping

• Produce high-quality maps using QGIS, ArcGIS, and company templates.

• Convert GIS layers to CAD formats and prepare AutoCAD drawings for engineering, planning, or reporting use.

• Draft simple engineering layouts (site boundaries, access roads, infrastructure outlines) using AutoCAD.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, whitepapers, and project documentation related to GIS and UAV applications.

• Compile data summaries, charts, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

5. System & Database Management

• Organize, update, and maintain spatial datasets in SharePoint or internal GIS databases.

• Perform routine data cleaning and attribute verification.

• Support the development of GIS/web-based applications for internal use
  

Key Responsibilities

• Obtained a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in GIS, Geomatic, Surveying or any related background.

• Minimum 1 year' experience in UAV mapping and GIS analysis.

• Proficiency in using GIS-related tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS.

• Experience in drone operations for UAV mapping and GNSS equipment.

• Willing to travel for fieldwork when required.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for report writing.
