Sales Assistant Manager / Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Assistant Manager / Manager to lead and inspire our sales team across multiple branches. This role is responsible for supervising daily sales operations, coaching and motivating team members, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies designed by the Commercial Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management & Execution
- Supervise, motivate, and manage daily operations of a 20-person agricultural sales team, covering both drone solutions and agrochemical products, stationed across multiple branches.
- Drive execution of sales strategies designed by the Commercial Lead, ensuring alignment across drone service offerings and agrochemical product distribution.
- Monitor team discipline, behavior, and engagement — intervening with coaching, correction, or redirection when necessary.
- Cross-functional Alignment
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Planner to understand sales workflows, KPIs, and CRM dashboards for both drones and agrochemicals.
- Partner with the Agronomist to integrate technical knowledge, including drone spraying solutions, crop cycles, and agrochemical application methods, into the team’s execution.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, CRM data inputs, and reporting protocols across all sales staff to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Operational Oversight
- Track sales team progress using pipeline dashboards and KPI reports covering drones, spare parts, and agrochemical products.
- Identify blockers to performance (e.g., technical knowledge gaps, product availability, or customer adoption challenges) and resolve or escalate proactively.
- Support the onboarding and behavior integration of new sales staff, ensuring they are trained on both drone technology and agrochemical product knowledge.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in team leadership / supervisory role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing field teams (agriculture, agrochemical, or related industry preferred).
- Strong people management and coaching skills, able to motivate and discipline teams.
- Experience working with KPIs, CRM systems, and sales reports.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Agronomists, Sales Planners and Operations).
